Partner and Managing Director of Seacap Advisors
Matt Johnson, CPA is a Partner and Managing Director of Seacap Advisors. Seacap provides Investment Banking, Business Valuation, and Strategic Advisory services primarily to middle-market privately held, founder and family-owned businesses. Prior to joining Seacap, he was Chief Financial Officer for West Cancer Center & Research Institute and Chief Operating Officer of Medical Anesthesia Group. Earlier in his career, Matt worked in banking, performing transaction analysis on acquisition prospects, and working with clients to help them achieve their strategic objectives.
Matt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) with the AICPA and sits on the Board of West Cancer Foundation and the West Tennessee Advisory Board for Youth Villages. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Finance and Accounting at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN.
Matt received his Bachelor’s Degree from Christian Brothers University and his Graduate Degree from the University of Mississippi.
