Janie Lowery

Community Volunteer

Janie Lowery enjoys life – just ask her husband, Michael Lowery, DMD and their two children, Tucker and Palmer. Her fun-loving persona hides a serious and generous spirit that benefits her family, friends, and community.

Janie has incredible energy, wearing more hats than Queen Elizabeth. While at Church Health Center, she established the largest fundraising event in their 32-year history. Janie also serves on the Salvation Army Board, Memphis University School Parent Board Association, Red Acres Garden Club (President), and is on the development board for Memphis Indie Film Association.

Previously, Janie co-chaired 2020 Dixon Museum “Art on Fire”, 2017 Carnival Memphis “Krewes For Kids”, 2012 Children’s Museum of Memphis “Cirque du CMOM”, served as 2010 President of the Junior Auxiliary of DeSoto County, committee member for the Presbyterian Day School Parent Association, a Junior League of Memphis Sustainer (lifetime member) and served on Young Life Committee.

Janie attended Ole Miss, graduating Cum Laude from Louisiana Tech with an emphasis in pre-med (biology/chemistry), and started her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at University of Alabama before becoming a wife, mother, and community advocate.
