Nestor Avila is the Development Coordinator at West Cancer Foundation, where he supports fundraising initiatives that expand access to cancer care and resources across the city of Memphis. Born and raised in Memphis, he is driven by a deep commitment to his community. He has a background in healthcare strategy, patient access, and nonprofit operations. His experience spans from hospital systems, higher education, and legal advocacy, giving him an overall view of the barriers patients face, and the resources needed to overcome them.

Nestor holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Memphis and uses his training in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis to serve vulnerable populations. As a bilingual leader dedicated to health equity, his career goal is to make healthcare both accessible and affordable for every family in Memphis and in the region.
