She to Sea Team Rides With Purpose, Raises More than $112,000

The 2025 She to Sea ride was a resounding success, raising more than $112,000 for West Cancer Foundation’s mission to break through barriers to cancer care. On March 22–26, 20 dedicated women cycled more than 500 miles from Memphis, TN, to Seagrove Beach, FL, honoring lives touched by cancer and funding vital cancer support services. That’s more than 100 miles per day on a bike dealing with weather, traffic, discomfort and physical challenges most of us can’t even imagine. But She to Sea is more than a ride—it’s a powerful movement fueled by personal stories, sisterhood and a shared commitment to suport those impacted by cancer.

This year’s ride was presented by Pinnacle Financial Partners│Fountain Financial Group, with support from H&M Company, Inc., Eisai, Nucor Vulcraft Steel Manufacturer, Superlo Foods, Latting Speed Shop and Somerset Getaways. Thank you She to Sea, our generous sponsors and donors like you who help make their journey possible.

Melodies for Miracles: A Night of Music, Hope and Healing

Mark your calendars for a powerful and uplifting event on Saturday, June 1 – National Cancer Survivors Day – for Melodies for Miracles, a benefit concert celebrating strength, survivorship and the healing power of music. The event will be at First Baptist Broad Church, 2835 Broad Ave., at 5:00 pm.

This special evening will be headlined by acclaimed gospel artist and cancer survivor Sharonda Kay Mitchell who will perform songs from her highly anticipated debut album, Voice Notes. Mitchell’s personal journey through cancer has inspired audiences nationwide and her testimony promises to bring encouragement and light to all in attendance.

The concert will also feature guest performances by several beloved gospel artists, coming together to create a moving night of praise and purpose.

Best of all, a portion of all ticket proceeds will directly support the mission of West Cancer Foundation, helping provide critical cancer support services for patients and families in our community.

Don’t miss this unforgettable night of music, inspiration and impact. We hope to see you there!
