Sponsors Power West Fight On’s Record-Breaking Success

West Fight On 2025 raised nearly $600,000 with thousands of participants, volunteers and supporters coming together for Memphis’ largest celebration of cancer survivors. None of it would be possible without the event’s incredible sponsors—more than 60 businesses, healthcare providers and community leaders whose generosity not only supports West Fight On, it’s key to its success. Among them, new sponsor SouthWorth Capital Management exemplified true community spirit, rallying employees, volunteering at dawn and fundraising to make a difference.

Read how sponsors like SouthWorth help power our mission to break barriers to cancer care.

Ride 2 Rosemary® Cycles for Good

The 2025 Ride to Rosemary® team raised a record-breaking $330,000 for its 15th anniversary 500-mile bike ride from Memphis to Rosemary Beach, FL. To date, the event has raised more than $2.5 million for West Cancer Foundation. According to Keri Burnette, VP of Operations for West Cancer Foundation, this year’s event had special meaning for the team. “Every year is special, but achieving 15 years of raising money for free cancer services for those in need in our community was a real milestone. It’s something the team is very proud of, especially its founding members who could never have imagined the legacy they would create when they set out 15 years ago. We’re honored to be part of the magic they create every year,” she said.

Get Creative and Make a Difference with DIY Fundraising

You don’t have to wait for a big event to make a big impact. In Part 2 of our Ways to Give blog series, West Cancer Foundation shows how anyone—individuals, families, friend groups or companies—can launch a DIY fundraiser to support free cancer services across the Mid-South. When our community gets creative, amazing things happen.

  • This past October brought some inspiring examples of creative DIYs, including:
  • Our Little Lynx friends from Lausanne raised money with a student-led Bike Parade.
  • Mahjong enthusiasts continued to make a difference with the “Think Pink and Mah Jongg On!” event
  • The Bartlett Fire Department raised money during its annual Pancake Breakfast to support our cause.
  • King of Glory Church of God in Christ’s Pink Out Sunday for Breast Cancer Awareness event.

Discover how to turn your idea into action and help us break barriers to cancer care—one fundraiser at a time.
