Virginia joined West Cancer Foundation to provide support for operations, event planning, programs administration and fundraising. Before joining the Foundation, she worked at CodeCrew, a Memphis nonprofit organization which provides computer education to underrepresented students in the Memphis area.

In addition to her professional nonprofit career, Virginia has been involved in the local radio and music industry for many years. For almost a decade, she has been the host of the Memphis Mystery Train music program on WEVL 89.9FM, a Memphis volunteer-based nonprofit radio station. She also served as an off-air volunteer beginning in 2006.

Virginia is a Memphis native and her free time enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing and exploring the region’s natural areas.
