MEMPHIS, TENN., June 6, 2024 – West Cancer Foundation, which provides free cancer services to improve patient outcomes, today announced it has expanded its executive team with the appointment of Stephanie Douglas as Vice President of Development and Rhonda Causie as Director of Research, Grants and Strategy.
Douglas joins the team with nearly 20 years of philanthropy, sales and development expertise. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with various types of fundraising initiatives including employee giving campaigns, sponsorships, corporate gifts, special events, digital giving and peer-to-peer fundraising, as well as community engagement. Prior to joining West Cancer Foundation, Douglas was with the United Way of the Mid-South where she worked with some of the largest corporations in Memphis.
Causie has been a business/technical writer for local and national corporations and nonprofits for nearly 40 years. For the past 20 years, Causie has served the Memphis nonprofit community through program design and execution, grant writing and administration, with more than $17 million in grants awarded. Her grant experience includes securing and stewarding funds from local and national foundations and all levels of government. During her time at the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, Causie designed and led multiple high-profile community initiatives, including Leading From Every Chair®, the Opus One Series, the Symphony Soul Project, Family Tunes & Tales, Orff-Orchestra Concerts, and more.
